I forgot how fun this is

By scottux on February 16, 2020 11:53 pm

I have been venturing off into the forest of musical exploration for so long I have sorta forgotten how fun it is to make stuff that's anthemic and danceable. This was a lot of Serum, some FM8, XO by XLN, a little bit of effectery (mostly ableton effects save for Eos 2), and Ozone on the end.

Pretty cool. Fun to listen too.

Well, Scott. It's been so long that you were "the modular jam guy" that I've forgotten you could rock the dancefloor.

I DO love your experimental stuff, but hearing this was quite refreshing. Also, you display quite impressive production skills for a banger, Sir!

Wooo, great fun track. I'm sure many of us could benefit from similar 'rememberings' about fun and whatnot.

The arrangement is fine, though maybe you could add a short bridge to a second B section and an outro?

Those anthemic chords!

Oh this is a jam! Cool to see that you can crack out tunes like this as well as your ambient and experimental. Great stereo stuff going on, those delays are huge. Great work!

Slap a damn like on this one! My kids are even dancing around listening to this!

Nice arps; wish it was longer!!!

Very tight compo, I love the synths, they have some tasty oomph to them heart

Excellent tight beat and really enjoy the synths as the filter opens up on them.  Nice work!

Very nice. The synths are very clean. Out of all the synth vsts you used, which one did you find the most easy to use?
