Abyss To Indifference

By ScanianWolf on May 19, 2018 9:39 pm

A rather gritty, noisy Lo-Fi chiptune track originally composed on a single GBA w/ NanoLoop 2.7.6 and then arranged onto two GBAs synced together with a dash of reverb from an effect pedal. Recorded raw in real time from mixer and then de-noised, EQ:d and briefly mastered on computer before uploading.
God I wish my GBAs were pro-sound modded with a clean line output.

Something about that bass feels a bit off, maybe the decay is too high?

wow, love the delay/reverb on the high pitch blips.  very nice track!  good panned hi hats as well.

It might be that the pseudo side-chain arrangement on the bass is conflicting with the not-so-tight link cable sync along with the reverb that bothers you.
I’ll look into that for future setups, thanks for the feedback!

Thanks a lot! I appreciate your comments and I’m very glad you liked it!

Very smooth! Love the stereo imaging on those hats, beat's really tight. Makes me wanna try out NanoLoop!
