The Warehouse

By Saucey-dough on May 17, 2020 9:10 pm

I was pretty pumped to hear the news of Tony Hawk 1-2 being remade. I've been listening to the soundtracks all week. So nostalgic. I had some computer issues and timing problems while recording this. Pretty frustrating. I didn't put much thought into the mix either. Nevertheless, I've uploaded something.

i can picture you with a cutoff hurley tee and a backwards/sidetilted volcom hat beating the shit out of those drums.   this is fuckin awesome, i also cannot wait to try speed-running all the tapes in this game.  here i am....doing everything i can...love the picture too, awesome job, this song is a certificated slapper

A little too much abuse on the compression for my taste but song is pretty cool. Punk.

Hell yeah dude, sticking to the PS1 theme.  Pumped to hear the Paris song from Twisted Metal 2 next week (you know you're fucking doing that).  I've been pretty spoiled by Skate 2 & 3, but if I can get THPS for PS3 I'm going to have to.  Nice guitar work on this one man, some pretty fast picking in there.  The panned harmonies are pretty wild too, pretty sweet to listen to in headphones.

That's just All Too Common man. Great panning and guitar work and of course the drums are killer.

Haha thanks fellas, I wasnt crazy about the mix this time around, but I'm glad it brought that nostalgic joy back to your veins. Jerry was a race car driverrrr.

You're telling me... I was super frustrated with this mix. I actually turned off a lot of the compression plug-ins and it was still sounding like that. So I just submitted pissed off. Not sure why it was so muddy. Nevertheless, punk rock my friend.

I had to look up the Paris theme. Holy fuck that song was so good. I forgot about it. Just a straight 90s rock version of London Bridge is Falling Down haha! Skate changed the game man. Theres no doubt Skate is better, but THPS is where it all started. I thought the panning would be a nice touch for the harmonies.

How awesome would that be if I just broke out all that old gear while recording these tracks? "H, wheres my stars and straps hat?!!"

Ahaha took me a minute to recognise that warehouse lol, damn that brings back memories. Great energy and movement, I love that kick line!

Ahhh THPS...this sounds like a tune right outta the game.  nice work.

"Nevertheless, I've uploaded something." - Ah yes, these words are all too familiar since this damn quarantine.
