Take You Away

First, I would like to say happy 10 year anniversary to my unbelievable brother and sister in law. They celebrated ten years of marriage this past week. They are both amazing people, but together, they are a shining example of how two people should treat one another, even after all this time. I wrote this song around the time they were engaged as kind of a 'cute' gesture. The lyrics came really easy at the time, because they always demonstrated that love since day one. Ten years ago, children were not in the picture. As a surprise to them, I wanted to record this song for the first time, with the help of their kids/my niece and nephew. They too are growing up in a musically driven family, and it has been so much fun watching them learn how to play guitar, ukulele, and even sing. This song is kind of an intimate peak into my family, but I hope you all enjoy. Thank you all again for sharing our works of art together.

Ohhh you mean the 10 year anniversary of your dad icing his first born son?  Happy anniversary to those dude, fun tribute song you wrote for them.  Good to see you're getting the kids spooled up on all this, that'll be huge for them.

Great use of the niece and nephew on this. As Foo said, what a fun tribute song.

Wait, you mean the 10 year anniversary of you almost robbing a liquor store with a Smirnoff Ice? For sure. The kids love it and they are starting to sing in key, understand music, its pretty wild and fun to watch as an uncle.

Thanks bud. The kids had so much fun doing it. It's a blast to watch them in the 'studio' as you know. Its so important to keep music in front of them as they grow.
