A cartoon cat variant of Pouting Face. Also resembles Angry Face. Depicted as yellow on major platforms. Sometimes used to represent the internet meme and celebrity Grumpy Cat.
Apple’s design previously displayed the face in profile.
Pouting Cat was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 under the name “Pouting Cat Face” and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
