Little Quail

By Saguaro Gigante on January 29, 2024 12:01 am

Really made it just under the wire with this one. Didn't really have a whole lot of time for writing this week. I wanted to come up with a fiddle tune since I've been playing a lot of bluegrass and old time music lately. I've been wanting to experiment with recording acoustic. I started working on this last night but couldn't play the melody I wanted properly. I was gone all day today and only made it back with about 20 minutes to record this so I couldn't get many takes. Would have liked to spend a bit more time on it but I like how it turned out given the stress of having no time. This was definitely a fun exercise in trying to write an old style fiddle tune. Would like to do more of these!

I've been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 this week so this is exactly what I need to hear, haha. Excellent fiddle tune my dude, especially considering the crunch time. Sounds good!

Ur alright B O A H. Really fun, made me crack a smile. Good stuff!

Nice job! So versatile. Was this using that SM-58 on guitar? Sounds nice and full. Keep 'em comin

Good times. Let’s pour some pints and tell stories with that song. smile
