Reflections

By s0nlxaftrsh0ck on December 27, 2020 11:28 pm

Taking another crack at Ableton and getting used to the fade in and fade out effects each track can have. Wanted to give it one more try to put something out there to WeeklyBeats just to show I haven't forgotten it yet. I really do love this community and this bi-yearly challenge. I'm hoping to get myself a bit more organized both physically and mentally so I can focus and practice on projects in the coming year and hopefully my skills being a bit more refined for WeeklyBeats'22. I honestly wasn't intending for this to be an actual reflection description but, yeah!

Congrats on another year of WeeklyBeats everyone!

The snare sounds like getting kicked in the family jewels. Then the piano is the aftermath.

Is there anything I could do to fix that up? I was on Ableton using a pre-made drum loop. Wanted to try a change up with a piano thingie at the end as I'm not great with transitions

oh this wasn't a critique, it was a compliment.

Oh shit! My bad! Thank you! In my head I was like getting kicked in the family jewels isn't pleasant what could the aftermath be?!

*Goes back and relistens to song* It does sound a bit tinny HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

But thank you for that! I'm glad you dug it though and sorry about that!
