First track of WB done on an M8, friggin love this thing. It's helped me a lot to visualize what the heck I'm doing with my notes when I alter them. Also, a two minute song I didn't exactly have to struggle with?!?! Feels good man!

As for the song I think this was my attempt at making a Sidechaining song but I may have tweaked/edited that out by accident. I'm still absolutely happy with the results though. The past few years have been pretty heavy on a lot of us so this song is kind of a reflects on that. Just a lot tends to weigh on you mentally and it just fuggin sucks... but yeah. Just know it's okay to not be okay and you more often than not have a friend or two willing to lend an ear.

This year is going to be a wild one. Good luck all of ya.

Solid start of the year.

when I heard F - Dm - Gm, I was expecting C as the 4th chord – Bbm was the 1st nice surprise – the psy bassline incoming @ the 1:16 was the 2nd

Nice! Dig the vibe smile

I remember shifting a couple of the note rows around and was keeping it in that F major scale but I'm glad it caught your ear. Not gonna lie the baseline caught me by surprise myself when I played it with the kicks. Had my 2yr old son in my lap and just turned to him going "Oooooo! That was pretty good!

Yeah, it's almost allways a good idea to push the limits of the tonal center a little bit

You absolute should get one or at least set yourself up with a headless M8 so absolutely worth it to just mess with the software.

Cool tune! That middle section gets pretty dissonant, but nice that it resolves back to that first progression.

I'm trying to break out of my comfort zone of the major chords and tones and embrace the dissonant and weird off sounds and still make music with that. So far I'm digging it! So I'm glad it gave that dissonant feel to it

This is a fun little diddly!

Definitely had fun with this one and was surprised about being able to switch it up mid-song
