The Case of Mystery Moose & Banana Hammock

By Ryan on May 6, 2018 7:39 am

My name is Ryan and I like Surf Music

A spy beat this week.

Detectives and surfing. I never quite understood the connection.

I think I will get the baritone out again next week.

Will it be Cowboy surf or Thrash surf? You decide.

I thought my cover images were getting a little too conservative. I will be correcting this for the rest of the year.

AHHH!  You are so good at surf!  You music is so good that it makes me want to do surf rock, but then it's like TOO good so it makes me not want to do it.  :-)

This image is basically everything about how I feel about this track.

Great art. This picture could become a perfect record-cover one day. so cool.

cowboy surf next week please and 34 chilliburgers. thanks.

Great track!  Slinky melodies and some tasty chords about the place.  Fuck conservative too.

Gotva Cramps vibe off of it at first hit with a heavier hand on the surf sound. Then it got all Ventures.  Best of both worlds.  Beautifully played!

Gotva? wtf, I meant "Got a" love the flaming subs!

I was about to say the same! Perfect blend of tones, great chords and melody! I for one welcome our new skyborne flaming sub overlords!

I started watching the new season of Westworld so cowboy surf gets my vote as well!

Yeah I can totally hear that spy sound in there and it's amazing how well it combines with surf music.  You're thoroughly convincing me of the versatility of surf music.

Your ability to mash up a whole range of influences into surf music continues to shine heart I look forward to more adventurous cover photos! ( and 1 vote for Thrash pls )

Damn that piano is fine. So what genre will you ice next time?

hahaha love the spy/surf concept. great track m8

You are too kind, but I think you should definitely write a surf track.

Thank you, I think the electric piano sounded more guitar-like than the organ thus blended a little better.

Thanks!

I knew I'd enjoy this track the second I saw a scotch-tape-horse-head smile Your tracks always have an awesome full surf band quality.  The drums, piano and guitar all play together so nicely.
