Hybrid drum and bass track meant to accompany a duel, with more dynamic changes in the middle than in those first pursuit tracks. Melodic part fits better in here, I think. Not very satisfied with January overall, but glad there was an attempt at least •́ω•̀ Will probably go back to my comfort zone for the next concept with more folk stuff.

Really felt the "duel" aspect from the start, I realized I was picturing more of a knightly "sword and shield" type duel until :22 haha. Love how fast and frantic the drums come in.
Maybe it's because we never played wipeout, but I'm having a hard time placing this song in any sort of visual theme or time period. It's intense, but somehow doesn't feel like anywhen? Like maybe there's too many thematic elements that makes it feel like whacky races at mach speeds.
