Bangkok Wired

I welcome all critical feedback.

This was started in December last year in Bangkok at request of a friend who needed a short jingle as an outro for his YouTube videos. I didn't have my usual equipment with me so quickly reverted to my trackerhead monkey brain for that. He's using the result.

This year I'm in Pittsburgh PA for a conference without my usual equipment so I inflated the jingle into something more complete. Still not a real song, but this is the weekly beat I had resources for this week.

72 BPM, C-major. Renoise with LinnDrum samples and Opsix Native synths.

How did you find the time! Just casually dropping a lovely, polished track in the middle of a conference, nbd. Really like the moment at 1:10, and the soft bassline throughout. Wish we could hear more of the guitar that comes in briefly at 1:07.

The mix is really great, as is a mark of your tracks. This is motivating, like a north start target. The drum sound really take us into synthwave, along with the floating other synths. You were at a conference? I hope that was interesting!

The fills! The synth is a jam, but the fills take me where I want to go. Change up around 1:10 is so nice too. We’re like full hero scene in an 80s movie

^ this
and yeah, those fills are so tasty  heart

Dang the opsix native sounds smooth. Love the cheeky panning tom fills too, gosh the linndrum is such a distinctive sound.

You and nedsferatu have me interested in renoise now. How do you find your workflow there with vst synths/opsix?

Chill, uplifting vibes. Super pleasant listen! The bass is notably awesome.
