Very happy with this. Tried a few times to start this week's track, all of which began by cycling through synths with the intent of making something "IDM" like but not finding the exact patch. It wasn't until I was just scrolling through laser percussion samples, that I quickly was like, "Oh duh, this obviously how it all should really start with weirdo percussion", ha. One of the laser sounds I layered with several effects and it became this very weird digital/rigid texture made by continually hitting the randomize button.

Very much tapping into influences here, as this reminds me a lot of my favorite Autechre release, LP7. Whee.

Also, after 5 years, my Shure SE215s broke which is lame. Anticipating on payday potentially getting Shure SE535s. Check back next week to see what I got, ha!
