Fair warning, this gets pretty noisy in spots and is completely erratic.

While I sprinkled a few sounds in here or there, 95% of the audio was originally just a basskick run through a mess of effects while scrubbing back and forth on the sample and even the entire timeline itself. I'd like to think there are one or two little parts that sounds like it's about to become coherent, then just slams into a wall or stops.

That was this week.

Dude!  This is the same approach I took for my track this week.  I've loved processing audio like this for awhile but dont do it much anymore.  You got some really sweet sounds on this track, what effects/methods did you use to create them?

sounds like delightful bass kick madness...hope you didn't use a VJ suite and have to reinstall multiple programs!

Ooh, exciting! I use FLStudio, so I had Edison on the end of one channel to record "Now" while switching presets and turning effects on and off. Then I dragged that wav file into the timeline, put it on the same channel, recorded again into Edison scrubbing the file in the playlist/timeline. Fun and chaotic process, but really love mangling sound that way! heart
