I have a few unfinished pieces that I hope I'll be able to use as a crutch in case I'm attacked by a week like you were this time. So far I didn't have to use any of them, and maybe it won't be so easy to actually pull off that trick since there must have been a reason why a song didn't end up finished. We'll see.
I like the meandering track. The lead is well programmed, and the tune flows nicely. I'd try making the bass more contemplative, too, but that's nitpicking.
I'll confess that I've never started a track from scratch this WB, so far all of them have been built from my vast repository of unfinished 4-bar loops. Kinda starting to run out of usable ones though.
Really nice track, I think this sounds great. Love the lead and the ambience with the marimbaish background sounds.
I love how it feels that the main lead is singing throughout the whole piece here. Lovely!
