Weight of the World

One take performance using the Pulsar 23 and the Syntrx 2 with Boum and Bam on end of chain processing.  Zero edits.

I did this early in the week so listening back to it days later, I'm truly surprised at some of the sounds I coaxed out of these two hardware machines.  I fed the Pulsar 23 into the Syntrx so there's a real organic interaction between them.

The wailing risers followed by the glitch explosions are huge. This feels like an asteroid shower, except that each impact results in huge thunderstorms as well.

I can imagine a short movie about those 2 synths, fighting against each other, shooting lightnings and electric impulses, getting wounded until they shut down smoking and damaged. What a recording!

Loooooove the sound design choices. Really unique listening experience.
