Trepidation Falls Like Heavy Rain

By rdomain on February 24, 2024 7:14 am

I've just started work scoring a doco so this is a piece written for that.  Phillip Glass is referenced in this scene so this is a homage to the man himself.

For film work I usually use Logic X with a large array of virtual instruments.  This piece includes software instruments from UVI, Native Instruments and Spitfire.

I am going to have minimal spare time over the coming weeks due to work commitments so apologies if I don't get round to leaving comments in advance.

This is so mood setting and suspenseful, perfect for your application

If you can still pull out a track for us, it is fine that you don't comment much wink .

Very nice orchestration, everything seems to be at the right place. I really like those strings. It sounds really big.

That was a very pleasant listen.

Loving the Glassian feels throughout.  I was just listening to his recent performance of Opening for his birthday.  Then I tried to learn part of it just to see how he does those hypnotic melodies.  If you haven't seen the YT vid on his channel def recommend it.  The strings sound excellent.  Wish I had better command over my Spitfire library ha.  Really enjoyed the ending too. smile
