The King Bleeds (Dig in Deep)

Spent a lot of time on this composition.  It went through several incarnations and refinements before the end product presented here.  Enjoy!

awesome track man, best one of the week I've heard so far and it's been a pretty great week. I too went through a number of iterations for this week's track and spent more time on it than I've had lately.

Thanks mate!  Definitely enjoyed your latest too.  Cheers!

This is SAWEEEET!

Time spent and It shows. Fantastic layers and textures. I love how everything seems to be fighting the melodic center yet all still goes together nonetheless. Challenging listen for me but very cool nonetheless! Well done!

Cheers!  Yes, it took some arranging and remixing to get everything to fall together.  Also working on the composition of the harmonies/melodies.  Thanks for taking the time to listen.

Great tune & mix. How does the "generative" tag apply?

The original foundation and all the synth tones are from a generative modular patch.  The entire 'performance' runs in it's entirety throughout the piece (except for one volume automation in post) so the piece is kind of composed around the generative performance.  All the composed/structured synth tones were harvested from the original performance too.

And thanks!  smile

Great track, nice crunchy beats to go with the sounds and textures

Cheers Jason.  Thanks for listening!

Nice mix of sounds with this one - brooding, foreboding and sinister undertoning smile

Thanks Tim!  smile
