I'm in the process of recording an album with shamisen player and vocalist, Noriko Tadano who I have been collaborating with for 2-3 years now.

This piece is created from one of our outtakes.  Modular synth and shamisen recorded live in one take.

Mega trippy, wasn't expecting that massive swell towards the end!

This is awesome. Love the sound of that Shamisen! I love the vibe this piece creates. Will definitely listen to this one more times this week.

Oh man, I met Noriko (and bought an album of hers) when she was busking in Melbourne in maybe 2007 or something. A long, long, long time ago. Great to hear that you're collaborating on an album. What a fantastic musician. What a great piece. I can't wait for this album.

I adore your recording skills. This sounds gigantic. Just WOW.

this shamisen is amazing!!!!  great collab!!!!

Keep us updated on the progress of the album, this sample of your collaboration sounds fantastic, the shamisen has such a wild sound combined with your modular work.

I'm looking forward to hearing the album! I like the way she is re-inventing the shamisen, using it in a non traditional way to create interesting layers. The

Love this, can't wait for the album.
