I love the piece, but the relevance to present day is heartbreaking.

So much of your work feels like it was born from the hidden depths of your heart.  Very precious, sacred, fragile, and sometimes......scary.

That main flaring synth sounds awesomely haunting.  I'm guessing thats from Ambition?  I just checked it out and it looks like it would be really cool for making pads just like this.  Def got some imagery of streets set ablaze.

Yep, everything was Ambition.  Wanted to create something using only that instrument.  It definitely excels at pads and textures.
