One of my favorites so far this week. What do you mean "with a digitally manipulated version seeping through?"

Binaural?  Did you just reprogram my brain?

Seriously cool stuff, and I don't think that's just the reprogrammed brain talking.

Thanks Jim!  As for the question.... the digitally manipulated version is heavily manipulated and it runs the entire course of the song.  It's actually the first glitch burst at the start of the song stretched out over 3 minutes and then injected with binaural information and reverb/compression/etc.  Also contains harmonic feedback processing which creates the tibetan bowl like sounds that only expose themselves at the end even though they're there the whole time.  Kind of what I was eluding to with regards to 'seeping through'.  It's there making an effect but not really that audible in the grand scheme of things.  Subtle and subliminal although the overall track is not.

hehe.... yes.  Conceptually you should start hyper alerted and then in a deep relaxed state at the very end.  In the space of 3 minutes, not likely to take effect I'm guessing and headphones are usually recommended although I made it fairly obvious in the mix so you can hear the information via speakers.  I haven't experimented heaps with it but I do find it interesting whether it actually works or not??

And thank you!  smile

Really cool. I like the layers, including what I hear (or unhear) as a kind of colored silence in the background.

I think there was a gl was a gilt a glitch in th the th b the brai the brain switch I ha the the had inst in installed. I'd       I'd like to re I'd re I retu I'd like to re return it pl p ppppppp pleas. e.

(Nice work!)

Reprogrammed brain or not, superb track!
I think the layers of details in your music are way too interesting to me to enter a deep relaxed state though smile

Thanks dude!  Yes, mad glitch and deep relaxed states are generally worlds apart.  hehe.   An experiment in juxtaposition if you will  smile

Glorious noise thing! Nice one .. looking fwd to your gig with Lietmotiv Limbo smile

Thanks Tim!  Yes, should be a good one.  I've been on the phone for over an hour today trying to sort my custom case.  It's going to be pushing it in time for the gig.  My fingers are crossed though!  I'll be playing either way  smile

Was this improvised? Are you gigging round melb anytime soon??

Yep, all improvised.  And listening back to it now I'm like.... how did I do this?  haha.  Hopefully I documented the patch.  The title hints at the technique I think. Abusing cv controlled switches to create the glitches.  There's a studio treated track underneath this recording though.

As for gigs in Melbourne, I do have plans to make plans to do a few shows.  I have 2 venues who have said I'm more than welcome.  If it happens I'll be sure to let you know.  Maybe follow my r.domain fb page if you aren't already.  I post all news there.  Cheers!
