All I Can See From Above is Sadness

By rdomain on February 4, 2024 3:06 am

Main part was created on a modular synth and once recorded, I added various orchestral elements (Augmented Orchestra) with guitars (Fender Stratocaster/Guitar Rig) being the final touch.

This one is quite a journey so I hope you have time to enjoy the full immersive listen.

Here is a small video of the modular synth patch in action.  Give it a like/follow etc if you're IG inclined.  smile

That was indeed a journey! Ended up in a surprisingly tender place.

I took a peek at your IG - nice rig. I've heard good things about uLFO. Also I have a big soft spot for Three Sisters - my track this week was basically just that getting pinged with some pulses smile

Gave me visions of a close encounters-esque spaceship hovering above with it's pulsing lights in time with that buzzing/gurgling sound.  Ooooh the augmented orchestra adds such a nice pleasing element to it.  The guitars at the end give it a triumphant feel overcoming the sadness.  Dang those strings sound so good *swoon*

Starting with Stange sounds from a different galaxy, you warped me into a peaceful dreamworld. But no sadness.

Beautiful. I was especially taken by the rich, diverse landscape of textures you created, really well sculpted and dynamic. I know that sounds dry but I appreciate the attention to detail there lol

Love the modular patch (wow, what a rack you've put together!) and the end section with distorted guitar and strings blends really really well. Great arrangement!
