A Little More and You'll Go Blind (redux)

By rdomain on July 6, 2018 2:31 pm

An ambient remix of a song by post rock band Molloy.  Members included myself with fellow WB members Ryan and Bellebushka (plus others).

An exercise in minimalism.  Guitar intro was looped and fed into the Orthogonal Devices ER-301 for gradual processing.

rich in feeling and atmosphere

wow, this is fantastic! less is almost always more, for sure!

Except when it's less. This is just right (as Goldilocks would say).

Sounds like the waves of an ocean. Or like guitars immersed in a huge chamber. I like building effect until the original signal is lost to the processed sound.

this is really good.  has the rdomain spaciousness, but the guitar definitely puts it in a different context.

I like how the ambient wave sounds build up energy. Cinematic.

This has got a wonderful sense of space. I really like how the processing builds throughout.
Great remix!

This was fantastic to listen to. I'm a fan of the openness and space-like feeling.
