Spark (with Helico Bacter)

By RawTicks on March 1, 2014 9:04 pm

This track is a collaboration with my good friend Helico Bacter. I asked him if he'd like me to finish one of his unfinished track, so he sent the first minute of this track, which I then completed this week, reusing some of his sounds and adding effects and a touch of Volca Keys. It was a very fun week! Hope you'll like it.

Love this production quality, reminds of chris clark.

This is oh sooooo good. smile Really interesting turns in this and right on the money!

Love this! and super tight production..

This one works! Excellent use of FX, very logical andwell placed. Reminds me of some pistachio island stuff

Lovely reminiscent of Cornish electronics

this is absolutely brilliant. Love the glitches and overlapping melody. Quality is really outstanding!     Favourite!

Excellent combination of interesting sounds and unexpected musical turns, but still keeping it very listenable. Great work!

Superb stuff, wins the week for me!

Excellent, love when the synth comes in at the middle

dayumn those drum sounds are suhhhhweeeet! So crunchy, squelchy and deep.  I love the whole feel to this track.  The melody brings me back to listening to Analogue Bubblebath or Autechre type tracks.  Seriously awesome sound throughout, well done!

Thanks a lot evrybody for the kind comments. Really appreciated!

Very organic and full of character - love the slow-burning chime melody over the playful, mischievous beats having conversations with each other - then they all discover a way to play together. Such chaos, but it never for a moment feels harsh to my ears or brain. Winner!

Great samples!

very nice

So awesome, very tightly knit composition. Enjoyed this!!
