tis a ghostly/skeleton/unfinished-like thing(i started Thurs. the 1st, because i thought this only opened up within 2026, but i may have had that wrong)... i'm not sure what i intended, and then adding some guitar made it go off into a moodiness i didn't have much patience for, so i ended it swiftly and upload it as is, at this point hmm

other than that, how's 2026 treatin' ya?! glad we all made it this far(the last two years have sucked ass, i don't care anymore, just glad to make it to a new one, somehow it carries new hope...).
2026, let's gooooooooo!!!!!

Right out the gate with a banger on week 1. Expected nothing less, really well done! heart

Welcome back!  I agree, maybe it's naivety on my part, but I always feel a little bit of hope with a new year.  Cool glitchy vibe and I liked the ambience at the end.  Great start to the year!

Awesome to see you this year! Great start to the year - love the hand pan samples, and when the beat kicked in at :45 it was just a groove. Glitchy goodness!

Let’s go WB ‘26!

yay raja! i do hope 2026 brings less annoyance to you but even if it doesn't may it bring creative production! i like the handpan stuffs & it feels pensive yet hopful this track

nice and ethereal .˚○ • °

Lots of interesting sounds going on. Welcome back for 2026.

Wow. Freaky but nice!

The past two years were full of disaster for me as well. You're in good company, bro wink

Let's hope that 2026 will get better for both of us smile

I started making music again after a long transition phase without a studio so that is a really good start smile

love the handpan sounds and glitchy beats.  didn't take me long to nod along.  feel ya on the last 2 years. **le sigh**

welcome back! really good ambiences throughout, love the glitchy sounds, the bass coming in around 2:30 ties up everything nicely

glad to see you back, I certainly hope things start looking up for you just glad to see you back here sharing your craft.

I hear you, certainly it's been a journey getting to WB 2026. Sure feels good to be back though. heart

This is the coolest steel drum texture I've heard in a long time. Really looking forward to seeing what you'll cook up musically this year!

This goes off. The handpans are absolutely crazy as someone else mentioned. It's kinda like if Burial made a beat for Bladee or something insane.

More beats that are beats that are unexpected thank you for your help with my reality

Grrrr, take two NO THREE (remembered to copy/paste this time) on sending a comment, first was eaten by “submitting comment” demons.

RAAAJAAA, my friend! How’s the alien life? Been a while and I missed your beats. The guitar in this—not sure I’ve heard you play in 2022, but the texture & fit in this is remarkable, and I hope you’ll play it more. The syncopation around 2:10 mark is really lovely.

Is this max? DAW? How?

I’ve been okay enough all things considered but really needed a structured pressure point to make tunes, there’s enough stressors and finding a reason to stare at a tracker / Elektron box instead of the fucking news app or (worse) some comments is good for my health I reckon…

Happy new year and excited to be listening to your work this year! heart

"(the last two years have sucked ass, i don't care anymore, just glad to make it to a new one, somehow it carries new hope...)."
A mood I'm totally sharing with you.

I considered 2024 a clusterfuck, 2025 some form of recovery, and I'm hoping I can turn 2026 into rebuilding what was broken.
That aside,

I fricking love this track, really digging the beat repeater/glitchy effect while also giving me some Surian-Indonesian vibes with dark undertones. I actually stankfaced and kept that face until the track ended.

Lovely tapestry of sounds, kind of subdued with a bubbling intensity underneath. I'm sorry you've had a horrible couple years and I hope there have been at least some random bursts of good.

The wild fun I hope to hear from a Raja track. Amidst some chaos comes some very nice flowing and groove. So much to dig into. Love the handpan samples! Welcome to 26, let's have some fun.

Like me some Renoise. Like the mood and space. Like the handpan sample treatment. Like the guitar. Like the complex broken beats. Like the track! No notes, five stars.

Glad to see you back!

That was a fun journey! Lots of really cool musical threads in there that all weave together. Really enjoyed the little rhythmic surprises throughout.

I love these percussion sounds and the landscape you created there. The reverb gives a sense of depth and 3D effect to the music as we have some sounds in the distance while others are upfront. Really cool production on this one. Let’s go for an exciting WB2026!

Very good to hear you back this year, always bring some of the most interesting stuff each week.  Like the glitchy granular effect on the hand pan samples and that bass is nice and deep when it drops in.  There is a great new granular module that just came out for VCV rack from JW Modules, might want to check that one out.

RajaTheResidentAlien!!!!!!!!!! may this be a better year for you and all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
heart heart heart

Really enjoy the transition into the squelchy bass adds some nice character hope to hear more smile

awesome track.. such a nice collage of sounds and the percussion is so nice with that glitchy aspect to it. welcome back

i dig it!

love the steel drums and the glitching
