felt pretty unmotivated this week. this is as far as i could get(i almost added a bassline, i think that would've been easy to do, and it should've happened, but at the last minute i just gave up, and decided to be content with whatever i've made so far... it's a strange feeling to have: like i feel guilty for being lazy, but also happy enough with this much done... besides, there will be other weeks where i will try harder, amirite? big_smile)

i hope i can do better and better... even 'in life', generally speaking, but for now, this will just have to do.

I'm sure a bassline would have been cool, but just taking this as is, I like the sound world you've conjured.  I feel like I'm in a big echo-ey space.  Maybe a tunnel or something.  It's dark and there's a strong wind blowing through and rattling things around.  Then near the end there's some acoustic sounds almost like a banjo or something like I'm emerging back out into the world.  It definitely creates a vivid picture for me.

Dystopian beauty. I love atmosphere in this track.

Very creative use of texture and atmosphere

love the drums and how they breath and lurch forward. awesome atmosphere throughout.  the banjo lines were a nice contrast to the drums.  well done!

great control over the dark textures and love the sound of the guitar piercing through, creates a nice balance with the industrial sounds.

heck yeah, Raja.
i struggle with this line of thinking sometimes too, but if you step back and look at it from another perspective...
it's a GD MIRACLE we get out of bed everyday, much less make some music and even record music!?
I'm proud of us!

Haha, when ya put it that way, I’m proud of us too, Thanks, Josh! heart

the shift toward the end of this track was a cool resolve

The lack of the bass is noticeable, but due to how heavy and all-encompassing everything else is, the choice feels deliberate. Like an environmental piece where low-register sounds would come from sound effects, so they're missing from the track itself.

The glitchy drums are dialed in just right and there's enough arrangement variety for this to never become boring. Good job!

We all know how you feel about pushing out a track just for WB sake, but silver lining this is probably one of the more original things I've ever heard on this site. I dig it!

yeah this is far out, really cool.

So haunting. So good! That wall of plucks and reverse plucks at the latter half is real trippy.

+1 for the struggle being real, but we all here together, we got each other, and we gonna make it heart

I love the ambient psychedelic sounds of this! screw the bassline, there's plenty in here to keep the ears listening for more

VERY parhelic triangle up in this piece.

loved the strings and the reverb that was somehow in the front, not in the back - very clever design
