New Toy

By r2me2 on February 4, 2018 8:26 am

Another busy week - not as much time to compose as I would like. I did finally update to the new Logic Pro X 10.4 on Saturday, so this track was an exploration of the new Studio Strings instrument. I didn't get as clean with the mixing, but it'll do.

Studio Strings sound(s) incredibly rich & realistic. Nice work!

The strings sound really good! We've come so far from the midi strings of my youth. I feel like we live in the future.

lovely!

It's pretty well done. Much better than I what did with a new toy.

Really beautiful piece and great string sounds. Looking forward to what you do with those on further weeks smile

Thanks! Ya, I was surprised by what you can get out of them.

Thanks. I'm still digging into them. I'm finding that if I keep them buried in the arrangement, they can blend better.

Great track!  I really would like to do some orchestral music like this in the future.  Inspiring!

I know!  Some of the things people have been doing with virtual instruments (including this piece) have really freaked me out.
