Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Hey howdy hi! It is a great pleasure to submit my first song to weeklybeats! This is basically the first musical composition I've ever come up with. I've decided to try out a chiptune tracker called furnace.
I am aware that chiptune music can be quite polarizing, I hope to explore other mediums in the near future. I am not a huge fan myself.

Radical chip jam. The funky baseline grooves so hard and sets the whole rest of the tune up for success. When the beat dropped at :19, those perfectly placed arps had my head boppin'. Especially loved the build up and scene change at 1:02. Amazing work. I can't wait to hear more!

First composition eh, not bad at all! Chiptunes is my cup of tea, and a good way to explore melody and composition I think, so definitely a good way to start.

Really solid groove! I'm a big fan of chiptunes and for a first composition this one has a nice combination of melody and percussion to keep it fun throughout. Definitely want to hear more tunes in the future.
