Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I've been just under the upload limit the other weeks but this required me to lower the bitrate due to the length. I seem to have a hard time creating stuff under 5 minutes this year so far. Do you feel like it is too long, and if so, what part would you scrap?

I think somebody uploaded an hour-long suite of something one week years ago? Not sure how hard they had to reduce the bitrate to get that to work, but hey, whatever gets the job done! 😅
This didn't feel too long to me. Different sections had distinct character and the transitions were smooth and sweeping. Nice work!

Nice progressive track! As long as you keep changing&modulate things every beat or so like you are doing it won't sound too long in my opinion! I enjoyed the journey 
this track just happened and i was unbothered. i was coding, it felt like it belonged. it didn't catch my attention tho, just wanted to come back to see what just played and then I realized it was an 8 minutes track. not bad!

Glad the tack didn't bother you or ruin the coding vibe you had going on.
This is definitely quite an adventure, maybe in the background, but still.
I think if you want to keep it fresh, snappy, keeping attention, I think you can discard one in two bars.
