I recorded this week here and there, did the arrangement and the mix on sunday. I have been working the weekend  too. So, I had no time to listen to the mix. Hope it came out OK. I have been using the MPC1000, my old Piano in the basement, the Farfisa and the Cello again after a long time of abstinence, plus a little noise for the backround in the mix.

It has a cool jazzy feel to it.  I'm glad you pulled out your cello, it sounds great in here.  My favorite part was the moment around 2:18 where it's been building up for a while and then everything drops out for a bit.

Wow, this is gorgeous! Got some solid Cinematic Orchestra vibes going on. I love the looseness and the simplcity of the groove. So nice, instant favourite, and I'll be coming back to this one a lot. Thank you!

fantastic sounds from the cello, piano, acoustic guitar. a hypnotic and delirious journey, with nice little pockets of air to sustain the next leg of the journey till the next one (or was it just one such pocket?). great stuff!

Super nice track to get lost in, I loved the cello in particular with how you utilized a lot of space and then would jump out of the silence with a cool slide or lick. The piano playing in in what sounds like a separate tempo around the 3 minute mark gives the vibe this floaty feel while the cello and drums hold things together. And then there's that dreamy acoustic strumming quietly in the background like a harp. Great work!

Stunning track. Every instrument is on its own journey but the sum is so much greater than the parts. Kind of reminds me of late Talk Talk, just beautiful.

Gorgeous arrangement and composition. Love the way everything interlocks and evolves over the course of the track. Your tracks have wonderfully explorative textures and a meditative quality that I really appreciate. big_smile

And the growl on that cello in the outro is just perfect. heart

Love the way the piano sounds.  For not listening to the mix gosh everything just sounds great! The cello is thick and growly.  The drums with the tight snare and airy ride sound chill.  It has a walk thru city streets after a heavy rainfall feel.  I dunno felt like I should be watching 80s Rocky Balboa slowly walking thru the streets contemplating his next fight.  And yep I agree with levelcapybara this has a definite meditative quality that I always take away from your tracks each week.  Oh and yais that cello outroooooo!  Awesome recording!

This track has such a good balance of subtle sounds, of texture, of life in the playing. From the smooth drums, the dynamic cello and the delicate piano. It's a peaceful and intimate journey. It's sitting and looking outside the window and enjoying the moment.

yes, this was fantastic. one of my faves of yours so far. mix sounds great to my ears.
cello is so tasty. all of it really  heart

wow this is so good!  favorited and downloaded

Wow, great piece. I like the beat and percussive elements, keeping me locked in. The great sounding piano chords hold it down and the cello is the magic topping to this mystical meal!

Hot DAMN, this is so good! The vibes are just perfect! Absolutely stellar job here. The chill laid back feel is exactly what I needed on this rainy Sunday morning. Thank you for that smile

This sounds really nice no complaints on the mix here. The MPC sounds great (one of the great ones).

Once again, the live elements adds so much to the track.  I love the push and pull feel of this recording.  The cello sounds great!  There's subtle hiphop vibe here in a way too.  Nice one!

Delicate playing, love all the subtle elements throughout. Excellent cello tones and the mixing is on point.
