sparkling toybox

By Q-Rosh on September 15, 2024 4:34 pm

Here I used several gimmick of my childrens percussion toybox and a few tracks of drums, Rhodes, saxophone, clarinet, harmonica and a clean/effected postrockguitar to make a flowing, no bars song in a freejazzy vintage analog style. I only had the sunday to do it, but could accelerate some extraspeed in production and enjoying the reliability of the new monitor speakers during a nice peaceful day.

It's shimmery and jazzy and most of all fun sounding.  A nice warm sonic bath.

Sweet ear candy Q-Rosh! I dig all the sounds and textures you're getting

gorgeous world of sound. these toys and instruments all have personality, and they seem to get along so well. very nice to be able to be in this room with all of you

love all the sprinkles, this is like an opening to a larger set as the audience fills the auditorium creating anticipation for an evening of great music.

I agree with mzunguko, it's almost like I'm so excited at the possibilities that this track is presenting to us. Where will you take us next?

So much bubbling sprinkly texture here, I will float away in a good mood, no more worries in this realm. Great combinations and creation. The clarinet and sax are especially nice surprises when the pop in for a visit.

This was a lovely way to end the week.  A beautiful soothing reset for the mind and soul.  heart

So well named - this track really does sparkle and it has a sense of wonder/discovery. Really enjoying the combination of sounds and how organic everything feels together.

Not easy to make a soundscape like that when things are apparently in no discernible rhythm and with disjoint harmonies and yet everything works just great. It's like a jazzy gamelan.
