paulas awakening

By Q-Rosh on November 24, 2024 5:18 pm

our dog Paula had an 4 hour operation last week. she is 14 years old an the tumor was almost as big as her head. we are happy, that she is doing very well right now again. I was at the side of her bed in the first night. And when the opioid receptors were getting free, I caught it on the phone: 15 minutes of Paulas singing, when she was awakening. Paula was always in my studio, since my first weeklybeatsong in 2014. So it is time for her to have a song of her own. For me it was hard to listen so many times while mixing, because I react to her sounds instinctly and sensible.
I wanted a calming backgroundsong, which I also recorded on a record-lathe version as Wilcox raw-cats, here on weeklybeat this week, without paulas singing.

Glad Paula is doing well and hope she feels better quickly.  A nice tribute song to her and it's neat to hear her voice chiming in.

this is amazing! I lost my dog last year, I miss her dearly and I had more recordings of her. I'm so glad Paula is doing well and is featured in a song.

oh q-rosh what a week you've had - this is such a beautiful piece - so many feels here...

hope paula's recovory goes smoothly!

sending you & your loved ones a squeeze from accross the pond heart

I've got four dogs, they're all seniors (13 and 16), all of them have battled cancer in their lives - Rory is a year out of chemo and a year and a half in remission this month. It's a struggle but they're family - I'm glad Paula is recovering. And I'm very happy you made a song with her - but I can't bear to listen to it I'm afraid, it'll break me.

Give Paula a hug for me.

oh Paula heart

sending love and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
thank you for sharing your heart with us through your music, Q-Rosh

Awwhh:)

Awwww, that's sweet. This a nice song for Paula! She's really talkative. Glad Paula is recovering. Wishing you many years of company. Our dog is getting older too, it's hard. It's nice when they sit and listen to the music.

I had this playing in the kitchen while doing dishes and the kids were wondering why the dog sounds sad.  After reading your post to the kids they felt better and we are all happy Paula is doing better.  A very nice piece of music.

love to you and Paula! heart  Such a sweet story.  Your music is always a soothing calming sound to hear each week thank you.  A warm rejuvenating cascade of sound.
