heavenly melody

By Q-Rosh on October 16, 2022 2:58 pm

I actual wanted to make a short song, but then I found a nice guitarloop, I recorded a couple of weeks ago. I mixed and arranged the track together and came up with a 15 minutes version of this one. I sharpened the song at the corners and did the trial audiotesting repeatedly on my phone app. Everytime the song ended I felt relaxed and significantly satisfied. that is why I left the length of 11 minutes and apologize for steeling your time.

is it slow or is it fast? nevertheless, i hear the clouds. well done

Interested in what the bassier string pedal chain is, love a kind of water drop sound to it.

Lovely textures throughout, the section that sounds like MOOD microloop manipulation w/ thos subbass tones = fantastic (and intense!). Supercool guitar playing in the 7th minute heart

Don't feel sorry, these 11:11 are positively heavenly

I was reading your website while listening to the track. Somehow it works perfectly together. I love your website by the way, the design is fantastic, the stories about where you started are inspiring, the pics ooze of beautiful vintage music. This all makes sense with your music, which is always so organic, so true, so perfectly imperfect.

Beautiful track, taking us in a journey through the clouds. The guitar tones around 7:30, with their wah like mellow sound, are syrupy and delicate. The way the track fades out very organically is also a very nice touch.

Between listening to your track and reading to your site, I feel I have spent some time sitting next to Q-rosh. That was a great time. Thank you sir.

That tremolo-like shimmery sound that overtakes the guitar around 2:50 is in such another dimension, really made this relaxing journey turn even more exciting and suspenseful, something i didn’t expect at first, and then it just kept pulling me in further… like all 11:11 of this track are essential parts for this journey to properly unfold. so beautiful heart

that was very pleasant and calming 11:11, very nice, thanks.

Lots of relaxing tones and textures at play here.  I think this would be enjoyable bedtime music to drift off to sleep to.

You're welcome to those 11 minutes, several times over!  Love the development leading into the clouds around 6:30 and then them morphing again into the guitars in 7+.

I wish they still made albums with tracks like this, thankfully there is Weeklybeats. cool  +fav (again).

saw it was eleven minutes and immediately hit play and settled in, did not disappoint.

OK. your ears do a fantastic job. here is the MOOD and the HABIT at work. the bassier sounds come from my EQ-mixing. I leveled up the low end with the dirt, which was hiding there, because the whole recording did not have much substance. thank you for listening and the beautiful comment.

I could not get a nicer comment like this. the fact you took the time to have a look on my website and compare it with my music, is what I was hoping for, when I made the page. so, I am happy and everything makes sense to me, too. great comment and thank you very much

this makes me really happy. I sometimes want to give a track the chance, to unfold itself, when a listener is really on the same frequence and enjoys the extra lenghth of the music. thank you very much

you are very courageous. I am glad, it has not been disappointing. thank you for listening and the comment

i always enjoy the awesome sound of your guitars.  They sound amazing in this one.  The way they dance around the space in between is pure music bliss.  The airy return to the guitar around the 7min mark is such a soothing transition.  Bravo!

You write a short song?!!  big_smile

I'm getting some mellow Eddie Hazel vibes in parts but with some extra processing of course.  smile
