another relict from the stone age. here are Q-rosh and D-man jamming in the early morning after a nightshift in a cave, called the "blue room", which was hidden behind a recordstore and a bakery in Heidelberg, Bergheimerstreet. Completely overtired and affected by the smell of fresh croissants and baguettes we were exploring the advantages of 4-track-taperecorderlivemixing. unfortunately I don`t remember how the beatloop was done. Did we have sampler then? I found this track on a cassettetape and did a little BOOSTER onto it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Cool jam.  I like the little touch of guitar at the end, but the bass and drums are sweet throughout.

So cool you're able to go through all your super old stuff like this.  Love the panning you did on this one.

I miss just jamming around with buddies on real equipment. This totally has that feel and I love it. smile

Damn that dirty tape saturation is nice.

This has a great groove to it. Love the story behind it, too!

Hallo Meister Q-Rosh, happy weekly beaty 2022. I very much enjoy the feeling of the blue room and would love to join. If you allow I will add some Klimperei and post it as a future Weekly Beats contribution

yeah, that would be a nice reunion of the three of us.

Groovy and wild!

Drums sound great with the laid back bass, like how the sounds keep panning around, sounds great on headphones.  Now I’m hungry for some baked goods, visited Heidelberg several years ago, beautiful place, would love to go back

I love the warmth of that track, the super smooth bass and how it contrasts with the tigher drum sound and thin guitar accents. Nice to hear the backstory of these vintage tracks too!

Yeah, I dig this!  Great tape warmth and gives it that lovely compression for the mix. Tasty groove holding it together while other parts scatter about maintaining interest.

I enjoy it as much as a croissant in the morning, maybe more

this is kinda hot

xactly!

This grooves, I like! 4 track tape sound for the win, awesome. And your story take me right there. I love those late night croissant (and other stuff) fueled jams.

Nice trashy jam with mysterious origins.  Love the back story.

I agree the tape sat sounds so nice and warm dang!  Love the groove of the drums.  A definite head nodder.

Awesome syncopated groove.  I love the unexpectedness of it.  Awesome licks/drums popping into one speaker like an thought popping into your mind

WHAT A BEAT ♥ I love it!!!!!!! and what a sound!!!! this is fantastic. The mix is also pretty cool, stuff is coming from different places and such big_smile The beginning just got my attention instantly. I only wish it came with some crazy soloing I suppose but you can't have it all in this world big_smile but dope beat! bring us more please

Supercool! I dig the raw feel of this. There's stuff coming from all directions!

Instant favorite, what an absolute gem of a jam! Writing this one's down for future music made aspirations.

whoa! the fidelity on this incredible. like being transported in time. the tape compression on the drums sounds so good...love the guitar bends too.
