background job

By Q-Rosh on January 30, 2022 8:56 pm

My last minute track this week. I was working the whole week, weekend included. This little piece was recorded on the fly with a looper and live tapping on the pianet M. I used a few effectpedals as well, making some background sounds. That was it, no bigger background story this time.

There are quite a few intriguing sounds in the background, close to subliminal. Cello like sounds? Breathing? It's like a flowing tapestry of sonic textures, this is cool. Good luck with your job, this must be hard, especially as you work in the medical!

This is somehow calming and unsettling at the same time.  Hope your work gets a little less crazy!

I like how simple this is. It's very evocative for it, and I liked just floating away on it. I'll be back for this multiple times this week, I think.

Music for Workplaces. Love it

It has more character to it than I'd expect from a last minute track. I enjoyed this.

Soothing. Good for music after a long week of work. Still has your unique and intriguing Q-rosh-ness about it.

Huge sound. I love the last minute on the fly tracks! Get to hear pure pedal inventiveness.

Very cool for an on the fly piece.  Lots of depth and interesting sounds in here.

Really nice textures. love the single (electric piano?) notes sprinkled in too
Really atmospheric

This has very nice mood... peaceful in the Eno/Budd way. Love the apparent semi-randomness, very fresh!

Thank you!! It is so fascinating, because in December 2021 I discovered the “pavilion of dreams “ album and declared it my favorite album of the year.
Never thought that it would get that much unintended  into my blood. This is crazy, isn’t it?

Fantastic. Love the textures, love the movement, love the hint of menace in some parts. Great work!

Love the dreamy feel of this.  The warmth of the pedals with the electric piano sounds so good.  Nice work!

This is equal parts lovely and unsettling. Good work!

Oof, I hope you get some rest! Really chill mood here.

Wow, great you were able to put this together with the busy schedule, doesn’t sound rushed, nice soothing sounds

Submarine engine room jam session, I really like this environment your track establishes!

Shows it's possible to come up with some great stuff at the last minute, nice one, super atmospheric.

What an absolutely lovely world this makes. Just enough bass to feel totally warm and comfortable, like when a fireplace fire burns down and is just giving off waves of heat. Just what I would make if I was exhausted. Respect the #grindset, but make sure you take a day off for yourself soon!

There's a niceness to it but there is also an underlying sound of things aren't actually that great.  Very enjoyable contrast.

Beautiful texture!
I love the atmosphere where the border between dream and reality is blurred.

this is the perfect musical analogy of your week.

"trying to relax with a lot of stressful things going on in the background"

It makes for such a beautiful space

Dope mood

I'd never heard of a Pianet M. Wow, that looks like a sweet vintage instrument. I really dig this. Very nice, dude!

Love this, but what I really wanted to say was already said perfectly here:
