Yes, it's electric guitar with modulator and crusher effects that I adjust while recording. The quick, high pitched beeps came from tapping the killswitch. Other sounds came from the wavelengths of playing particular notes, adjusting the volume knob on the guitar, and changing the frequency on the modulator.

I hadn't heard of him, but I checked out a few vids on YouTube and see he makes some wild stuff. Has quite the collection of effects he switches between, would definitely be cool to see that live.
