Running

This one was pretty down to the wire.  I messed up the ending and cut off the reverb tail but didn’t want to miss the deadline.  Same OPZ + 303 setup as usual. I originally started a track last Tuesday, but by yesterday i couldn’t stand listening to it, so i threw it away at 3am sunday morning. by 3:15am i had a track that i vastly preferred to the original attempt. It seems i’m doomed to write every WB this year at the very last second.

Loved this! Driving beat with really delicate and intricate melodic elements. Very well balanced and confidently done. Favorited!

Good upbeat stuff.

i liked this. pretty unique, and i love how the percussion is stereo-ized, it sounds great.

Came here after seeing the sausage waveform image in the WB discord, was expecting something more along the lines of St Anger than relaxing washes of 303. tongue  It's a lovely track, and I'm glad you kept going even after scrapping the first attempt. (+fav)

I think someone plotted out a rough curve of when submissions come in during the last run of WB—it is very much on-form to work up until the last minute.  I just hope you aren't doomed to write two songs in order to get one submission very often.

Thank you! 🙏

Luckily this is the first time I’ve had to totally throw away a track. Probably not the last though.

🌭

nice tune, really love the interplay between the arpeggiated chord progressions and the acid line
