Never Ask

Spent all sunday afternoon trying to add more to this, but hated everything I came up with. Decided to let it stand on its own. All M8, touch of mastering in Logic. I realized this morning that I basically wrote this same song in 2024, but a track is a track is a track.

What an intro. Those spacey arps slowly coming in then that sick fucking bass. Damn.

SO KILLER! That bass, those restrained drums, those arps, that lead!  You killed it!

powerful synths

I love those slower push forward tempos.

Cool sounds, beautiful arpeggios, well played!

So polished again. My first impression at the start was that this was sort of like the X-Files theme by way of William Orbit (Starbeam?). (Both great!) But it quickly became it's own thing to me. Once that lead joins, it is so rich and creamy. Those muted arps couldn't be more perfect.

What a trip, a sad one heart

Love the arps in the intro, sweepin' bass and general mix. Really well done. A track is a track and this one is rad.

This is awesome, this definitely didn't need anything else.
