No End of Rain

Drip drip drip falls water from the sky.
Drip drip drip and I really don’t know why.
but I’m standing here with wet hair ankle deep it’s getting higher
Put my house on stilts but it won’t recess.
I might build a boat, but I don’t know how.
I’ll settle for a raft or an inner tube.
Then I’ll relax and learn to float.
No end of rain. Water washes clean the plate.
No end of rain. We may never dry again
Rain rain rain will it never end?
Rain rain rain water keep falling.
I haven’t seen land in days and foods running thin.
When will it end? When will it?
The rain, will it end?
No end of rain. This might be the end of days.
No end of rain. Restart, replant, and replace.
