Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Sat down at the piano and this came out. It would sound great with epic strings/percussion etc. but kept it raw and stripped back. Vocal track recorded all in one take, no edits (that is rare for me, usually chop together a bunch of them). Peace in.

Glad you left this really stripped down. Vocal on piano came out amazing. The effect on the vocal really fills out the sound. Awesome you could get this in one take. That is where the best energy is if you can make it happen. Downloading and faving!
Amazing work. I do believe adding some strings/percussion could make it better, as long as it's as reserved as the rest of it.
I like the stripped back feel, but I agree some strings and percussion kicking in somewhere in the middle could be really sweet. I also like the effect on your voice.
So soft and impressive! Very good vocals too... love the frail mood of the music, without being sugary in the wrong way. Great piece of art!
