Drifting Down a River Slowly

By Podling on January 14, 2018 4:44 am

So still on the road with Garageband and laptop, no mics and stuff. The place that I was staying in had a nice acoustic upright piano, so sat down and came up with this track. It was bloody hot in that room, so went with the first thing that I played. Added some vocals just now (in a cooler room)... Peace and podling poo smile (and thanks Tone Matrix for the title)

This is a really sad sounding piece to me.  Nicely done.

I'm liking the direction you've started off this year so far.  The minimal lo-fi approach is yielding some excellent results.  The effects on the vocals sound really cool.

pensive, i dig it

Great track. Really like the vibe and the end result.

I really love out-of-tune piano.

Very nice. I hope you found a room of a comfortable temperature.

Very very very nice.

Yeah was real nice to play it. Love my digital piano but was nice to hear those acoustic sounds bouncing around.

Thanks dude! Hope you're having fun big_smile

Good for drifting away with the echoes. Also, cool harmony shift in the middle. Fav.

Just floating on by in the river of mellow.
