The usual drum machines (TR505 and SR16), drones from the DSI Mopho played through the Kaoss Pad 3, Pianoteq piano, heavily processed toy ukulele, Absynth bass and synth.
This was one of those tracks that feel almost finished early in the week, but seems to take forever to really finish. Without a deadline I probably could have been working on this for weeks, until I would tire of it and throw it away, or just end up going back to the first version and starting again.
I like where this starts off, but I kept going back and forth between a build up towards the end or keeping it more minimal all the way. Settled on building towards the end, but I'm still not entirely sure if that was the right choice. I guess I'll know When I listen to this again some time from now.

All that work has resulted in a very successful piece. Love the overall feel.
Wow... Great one!
The metallic and cracking sounds in the background are fantastic... and the piano is beautyfull.
Really like the rising sense of tension in the song. I say keep the build.
Beautiful track! Love the subtle percussion here.
I agree, the build def adds to the track and brings the track together. Excellent mix, especially the higher string pads that create the tension.
The efffort of mixing the whole week was clearly worth it. Love the ukulelesolo.

Thank you all!
That is a wonderful piano sound and you play it so elegantly. A joyful escape all the way to the end. I think you nailed it.
