Wonderland

It's been one of those weeks when I'm just not able to focus on music, and so I thought OK, when the weekend comes I can sit down and focus. And then I came down with a cold, which didn't help my creativity much.
So I ended up with a drone and a bass line from the DSI Mopho, some Pianoteq piano (partly doubled by an Absynth patch) and some snare drums from the SR16.

Quite the tranquill success, despite your travails.

Very soothing, but mysterious. Hope you get to focus more next week!

Hope you feel better soon.  Colds always seem to hurt my musical motivation, too, but I've found in the past when Weekly Beats forces me to push through I've ended up with some stuff I like.  This is really chilled out and mellow with just a hint of the ominous feel which you're so good at capturing.

Thank you all for your kind words!

Cool sounds. Heavy but with a touch of hopefulness. I like the sparse yet chaotic percussion like the microwave popcorn of time and space.  Hope you feel better this week!
