The Soft Jets

Here again, couldn't keep completely away. Although I'm not going for the full year this time, the deadlines have a positive effect on my ability to finish stuff :-)

Starting 2020 with a mix of singing bowls, radio static, drum machines, Pianoteq piano and a little Absynth in the background.

Also using this opportunity to check out Landr for mastering, so the uploaded file is lower resolution than it normally would be since I'm on the free tier for the time being. Will probably upgrade if I decide to continue using it.

Happy new year and decade to you all!

Excellent. The tones I missed one year.

Welcome back!  Digging that moody ambience and always enjoy hearing those singing bowls.

Really gorgeous, the singing bowls sound so  against the static.

gorgeous keys and atmos.

Welcome back buddy!  A lot of your previous tracks have made their way into my playlists for going on walks, or journaling.  That repetitive screech sound is so good.  Sounds like a warping cassette tape.  I've always admired your ability to incorporate the "realness" of a field recording vibe mixed in with the cinematic soundtrack style.  Great stuff.

Lovely, this is very reflective. The piano work is gorgeous, very rich and full sound without being too resonant. I love the dissonant tones, you handle them very nicely. Welcome back!

Lovely stuff. I'm a bit too OC for not doing the whole year, but if you know when to stop it can definitely serve a purpose taking a break. Every week can easily become a drain as much as a way to get stuff done! Interesting with Landr, may also give it a shot as it certainly seemed to work here...

Glad you're back smile

A very cinematic atmosphere with the singing bowls and added percussive elements.  The piano sounds so good!

well done
