The Red Pool

A tremolo'd drone, my drum machines and some piano (both acoustic and virtual).

One of those tracks where I end up making multiple minor adjustments while I become increasingly suspicious that there are some major adjustments that would improve the track greatly, but I'm just not figuring them out as I mix. Or maybe it's just mixing fatigue.

This would make a great soundtrack for a rainy day.  I can almost see the street lights reflecting in the puddles.

the piano works so well with these other synth pads/effects

I can notice your efforts about subtleties. There is no major problem at my point of view.

Masterfull use of the minimal materials. Love the pulsing drone.

Sounds so good on headphones, thanks for your contributions each week, always some of the most interesting music

Love how the piano gets a bit more and more dramatic as it pulses through the drone.  I can relate to the mixing fatigue.  Sometimes there isn't enough time, but when you can afford to take a 15-30min break or so, I always feel a bit refreshed and maybe I'll notice something before hitting export.  Of course I don't always follow that advice tongue
Beautiful track, your piano always sounds so calming.

WoW... Really like it... If Capcom needs some music for Resident Evil 8... contact Plantrain... stat! big_smile
