Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This started as a drum machine and fx jam, with acoustic drums added afterwards.
My first idea was that this should be rather abstract, but adding a melodic piano/synth part pulled it towards a more cinematic feel that I quite liked.

Love the dark & ominous feeling in this. It sounds like I should be investigating an abandoned warehouse by the water at night. Love how that chimey sound echoes in and out too.
I like the long sounds in the background which help create this great atmosphere. Great work!
