Night Frost

By Plantrain on February 18, 2018 11:53 pm

Drum machines, Pianoteq piano, Mopho doubling the original piano take and a flute sound created in Absynth.

Curious production note: the beat for this track was intended to be quite minimal, but when I started feeding the midi notes from my sequencer to the mopho something caused one of my drum machines to start playing frantic drum rolls at semi random intervals. Added effects to that, and that is the slightly chaotic noise part in the background.

The AIs taking over? Inevitable.

Really interesting track and gorgeous piano line. Those noise bits really make the piece though, I'm glad you decided to stick with them. Super moody.

Calm, chaos, lofi vibe and a great title!   i love the atmosphere you've created here; this would make an awesome soundtrack piece.

awesome track as always. You have created a serious frosty atmosphere here. So glad you are with us on WB.

That piano line is beautiful. Great atmosphere.

The piano sounds amazing as always and the little touches of noise really do add something really cool to the track. Nice job.
