This week's track started as a long live electronics improvisation on drum machines, samples and effects. I added acoustic drums, a little monotron and two synth lines. All of them more improvised than composed.
My normal approach would be to edit it down to a manageable length, but I felt that a lot of the strength of the music was in the gradual changes that the layered improvisation resulted in.

That way this week ended up as a 15 minute dark, dense and dystopic electroacoustic jam that I'm not sure how many people will listen to in it's entirety, but hats off to those of you who make it all the way through!

Prepare to take your hat off.  Nice one.  Some great dirty and shadowy tones.  I actually did a recording improving with my modular and drum machine this week just by chance.  I might do something with it for a future wb track.
I always enjoy the live drum element you add too.

Nice dark atmosphere in this one. I like the drums and synth textures. Great stuff!

nice progression and sounds. it feels very alive and dark. it's still running here, so I guess yeah, there are people who listen to all the 15 minutes wink

Sweet percussion and that opening bassline hooked me.  It's subtle but really drives the track and gives it a really dark feel.  The drum sounds are really cool and the distorted synths that blend in later even better!  Nice work!

Great twist with the drums around the end. Very nice and subtle progression. Totally worth the 15 minutes smile

Probably my favourite track this week. Awesome work!!

Hats off to you, and thank you for your kind words. Really happy you enjoyed it!
