A Short Cold Day

By Plantrain on June 21, 2014 10:59 am

More stress than inspiration this week, leaving for a two week vacation in a few hours, so this might be my last submission for a few weeks. Time will show.
The usual mix of acoustics and electronics, given more time I would rearranged this a bit to make it into a more coherent track, there are parts I'm happy with and parts that I'm not so happy with. But it is what it is.
Happy summertime to all until I'm back.

This is lovely. It reminds me of a game I played on PSX many many many years ago, kind of a dystopian future noir thing. I love it. Enjoy your holiday; hope you manage to keep WBing!

Still a very enjoyable track.  Subtle mood setting piece.  Keep doing your wb if you can!  I remember in 2012 WB writing one in an airport in Frankfurt and one on a bus in Iceland.  Can be tricky but feels pretty awesome if you can pull it off!  Internet access is pretty vital obviously  smile

cool vibe going on and the percussion sounds tight.  I like how it progresses towards the end with the added melody, nice work!  Have a good trip! smile

Love the dark mix of analogue recordins mixed with digital. Great work.

Thanks, I found a public wifi-spot and some free time to make some music, so there will be a new track from me this week as well.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to listen to any of your tracks yet, will make sure to find time for extra listening to the material from the last weeks when I get home.
