interference waves

It was really fun to record/ "perform" this live in vcv rack, though I did treat the stems a bit in ableton after.

WTF this is insane man. Really really love this, one of your greatest. DAMNNNNN! Would love to hear this in a soundsystem.
How did you do this shit? Seriously...

Sounds really good too.

So many excellent elements in this one. An all you can hear buffet of sonic delight! Especially love that low low bass machine drone beat that tempos faster around 1:45 and melts into that metallic synth! This would be amazing to watch if could be performed live.

Love this. So much variation but remains cohesive.

Excellent sound design!

so good, this is very awesome!

When this started I thought I was walking into in the middle of a Bomb Rush Cyberfunk boss fight cool

whoaaaaa this is awesome!  love all the crazy sounds you got. I don’t know what vcv rack is but this makes me want to find out.

Sound design and performance here is absolutely incredible. And, exactly what I needed to talk myself off the 'maybe I should finally give in and build a modeler system' ledge which I've been standing on the past few weeks.

like a rich stretchy syrup of thick modulations, mmmmm tasty!

I'm beyond humbled, it means so much coming from you. Its funny because for the longest time I was having a terrible time with this patch, since I'm not really using a clock (except to set the base tempo for the main LFO) and everything emerges from interference of 4x LFOs, the percussive aspect is also driven from logic comparators of the square waves of those 4 lfos as well. It was sounding like a mangled mess most of the time. But towards the end I started to find good value ranges and just doing very mild adjustments to avoid going out of control. The main recording is 15 mins, 15 channel multitrack at 96khz (about 2.5GB file hehe), and I had to pick my favourite bit. Its really hard to explain cause its a big spaghetti of cables and modules, but I was super proud of how it came together in the end, I could totally play with it for ages and do over an hour of recording.

Thanks so much! I basically performed it with my mouse turning dials in vcv rack, but I have some really cool custom physical controllers I could use if I ever tried to do a live performance hehe, maybe never.

Haha, it really sounds like it's expertly controlled! Did you "perform" this by setting the values just with the mouse and messing around or using an external controller?

Mouse only hehe, but could totally make it more fancy with controllers and things. The ripple down effect from just messing with a few knobs is crazy
