BOBENO

By mukti on January 28, 2024 5:54 am

This week I only used the wavsynth on my m8, and a tiny sample of my cat meowing while I was playing with him. I also played a bit with the groove and some other settings I'm not super familiar with... so it may or may not have worked; I'll let the listener decide! I also did a bit of additional mixing in Reaper before uploading, but didn't add any additional effects.

When deciding on a name for my previous tracks, I looked up cool/interesting words in Latin or Esperanto based on how I felt about the song. This weeks title is slightly different since it's not based on how I felt, but instead is a translation of my cat's name, Spool. Bobeno is an Esperanto word that should generally translate to spool, bobbin, or coil.

Esperantisto! I never got fluent in Esperanto, and what I have is rusty but... Mi sxatas cxi tiu kanton. Ankaux, la sonoj de la kato estas bonaj. wink

Adorable kibby.
Don't be afraid to use some more rests for a melody.
